Does the game crash randomly for you guys too? I'm on windows 8.1 and it crashes even though I have it on compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Solution for the Black Screen.
@Nightsaberr's solution:

Go to Windows > system3 > drivers > etc and delete the "hosts" file.

Restart your PC and should the "Play" button be greyed out, just make sure that ORIGIN is running in the background (no login required).

I am getting black screen. I have tried pressing alt+enter but even after small screen its still black and I dont know how to change resolution.
I have also tried after deleting the host file, restarting the computer but its still the same.
I am using windows 8.1 64 bit, amd r9 270x
